I am really enjoying this indefinite vacation. I sleep in daily, I leave the house to go to class, I am writing for NaNoWriMo, and I'm seeing Alex regularly! Granted, the limited money supply is annoying and may force me to return to the workforce sooner than I would like, but such is life. Today is the middle of my three day weekend from work, and I'm so happy. I'm not stressed out or angry, and the fact that I can go out and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts has done wonders for my outlook. Don't be fooled; I still intend to resign. ;)

I had an interesting day yesterday. I went to Alex's in the morning, and after hanging around for a while, we went to lunch and visited my sister at work. I interrupted a funeral procession today while meeting Alex for lunch. In my defense, it was a bright and sunny day, so it was difficult for me to see that everyone had their hazard lights on until I was in the middle of the line of cars. I still feel bad about it. :(

All in all, yesterday was a good day. We were super busy at work again. The University of Virginia played Virginia Tech, and for those who don't know, there's a big rivalry here between the two of them. I woke up at 5 this morning to find Pudgy in my room. It was pitch black. This was bizarre because I have an alarm clock that lights up. I'm going to West Virginia this weekend. I spent about an hour at work yesterday chatting with a waiter and waitress who were bored to death. I have two days left of my orientation class. On a lighter note, I'm hired now! Busgirl and hostess at C*h*e*e*s*e*b*u*r*g*e*r in P*a*r*a*d*i*s*e, 3-4 nights a week (hopefully on weekends more than class days). Orientation is sometime next week, and I believe I'll actually have work following that day. Not entirely sure; they're a bit disorganized.

I contemplated not going tonight to the graveyard with other people because I wasn't originally invited and there was a bit of a bitchfest on Facebook over uninvited people coming.
